Also you can't just use Kaberle's return as the bench mark. That was a one sided trade, done by a manager that has a lot more respect around the league than our current GM.

The level of respect for Feaster among the managers is something we know nothing about, and it's irrelevant - the issue is what Calgary will accept in exchange for Iginla, irrespective of how competent/incompetent Feaster might be, or whether the other managers like or respect him.
If Feaster thinks he can keep Iginla, and can re-sign him if he doesn't get any offers he likes, he'll set the price high, and walk away from lesser offers. Otherwise, he starts high and negotiates down.
