I don't (and I don't think any of us do) know if this is true, but if it is, good for him. There's more to life than your job.
The cool thing about being rich, and being the best person in the world at your job for a few years, is that you don't have to do what you don't want to. You can do whatever you want. Hell, that's the point.
Don't have to work anymore? Don't work. Don't want to move? Don't move. Have enough money to live for the rest of your life and don't need any more? Mission: Accomplished.

You would just think there would be a tad bit of loyalty to an organization that has literally given you the chance to play in the league. I could understand next year if you want to retire, but putting a gun to the organizations head and saying you won't report if you trade me this year because you don't want to play away from calgary for a month or two is ridiculous. I really wish Iggy had said this to see the reaction of some of you people, the free pass Kipper gets is ridiculous.
