Sutter could be pushing hard, but if the asking price is Bernier, Toffoli and a first (an example, I don't know the actual players involved at all) that's not going to happen. If Feaster is unwilling (speculation on my part based on a brief conversation) to move off the players he's asking for, a deal can't happen. Lombardi has wanted Iginla for years. I seriously doubt there's a lack of desire to get him. But sometimes a deal can't be reached. I doubt discussions have ended but some focus has likely been shifted to plan B.
