I wouldn't be surprised to see him bought out the summer after next, he's a decent 2nd line center who has been getting more playing time in a scoring role he deserves because of the center situation in Toronto. It's not far off from Stajan, except Stajan is making half as much and is playing very defensively sound right now.

he's been playing on a line with kulemin who has been brutal offensively the past couple of seasons and their line has been used as checkers quite a bit...says carlyle trusts him defensively.
and the trade was for cammi so one bad contract for another and one is a true center.
