It is putting family first rather than moving he is ready to walk away from the $1.5M on his deal. Not ideal for a flames fan but I still think positively of him and do not want to fault him for putting his family over work at this stage. I still think he is in the NHL for 2-3 years and he might be moved at the draft. I get why you are mad but if I was financially stable and ending my career and my work asked me to relocate I would probably decline if it wasn't the right move for my family
