The Judge felt that there was noway that the one person that is still sitting in jail could have acted alone.
In a legal sense there is a ground for appeal under their system, however at some point the system needs to cut their losses and move on.
I'm not saying that she's innocent and I'm not saying that she's guilty, I understand what the family is going through, I have a feeling that they think that Knox got off due more to procedure and failings of the system then innocence.
But its pretty pointless, I doubt that the U.S. government would extradite her on request
