That's the thing about places around here - microclimates. So ya, good point on the Alex Fraser thing, I remember seeing that in the news.

On the microclimate note, we get less than 600mm of rain here in Victoria. 80km from here, in Port Renfrew, they get 3700mm! Crazy stuff.
