Seriously, I'm sure most people here from Alberta go on autopilot for summer trips within Canada. "Oh summers here, where should we go? How about BC again? Cool". But if you're ever up for something different and are okay with a 5 hour plane ride instead of the old car road trip, give Nova Scotia a try.

So much to do and see. Obviously the cost of plane tickets is going be much more than driving to BC, but when you get there, the feeling is so much different than BC. The overcrowded, touristy feeling of BC is replaced with a laid back, breathable pace, where you don't show up to each event/destination and realize that half of Calgary followed you to your favorite lake/campground.

Everything is cheaper there, and the people (for the most part) genuinally want you there.
