I don't get why people think goaltending isn't a problem now and in the future for this org. It is a position of need. Sure you can sign a UFA stop-gap but don't people remember the Wregget, Braithwaite, Fuhr, Vernon days?

If Bernier who evidently is "looking to be a solid starter" (what is that based on?) is the return for Iginla, then the Flames should be negotiating an extension with Iginla instead of trying to trade him.
