I don't know man, with the PUCKS system, you can bring up every single shift the guy has had in a game - which would take about 25 minutes, multiple angles, etc. I believe the technology is there to even show angles where they would be out of the play.
I get that there are some subtle differences on TV broadcasts, but I think that he is right, the pro scout at a hockey game is probably going to be changing significantly over the next 10 years.
