Ie. Sony's used to be awesome for TVs - but then they started getting built in places like Mexico. I used to only get Sony's but when I got a lemon, I started to branch out, and now have a Samsung and a Toshiba. LOL

I have the Apple Iphone, Apple TV, and Ipad... but still also have an ASUS laptop, and PC desktop - so again no definite brand loyalty.

I guess for cars, I have only had Honda and Acura, but that's because all the Hondas in our extended family have lasted at least 200000 + km (with my aunts civic going 375000 km - still working even when she got rid of it). Again it is more for quality that I stick with them, not really for any reason. If they start sucking, well, its time for a new brand (it would likely be a Toyota or Lexus though - again for reliability reasons).
Agree about Sony. Their CRT's were amongst the best on the market but they have lost themselves in the HDTV market. I have a 46" Sony Bravia XBR LCD that was a top of the line television at the time of purchase ($4500 not well spent) and it has a horrible ghosting problem wich is disappointing compared to an even older, cheaper Samsung we have that had held up much better. Now when it comes to new televisions Sony isn't even on my list as I look to Samsung, Sharp, Toshiba.
