I'd argue that Iggy was the best
power forward of his generation, but not the best player. My favourite player? Yes. Best player? There were about 3 or 4 years when people would discuss Iggy being the best player in the league. Whereas Sakic was undeniably the most gifted offensive player in the league for a decade (albeit with a sick supporting line-up including the equally gifted Forsberg).
I can't decide whether I want him to be traded or not. I also have this strange conflict of interests when we win. Love it when we win, but then we lose out on a chance at a top 5 pick. What a strange time to be a Flames fan.
