Despite Sakic having a couple 100+ point seasons under his career belt and the edge in ppg average, I actually think Iggy in his prime was as good as Sakic.
They're very comparable in what they have been for their franchises and their leadership qualities. Keep in mind not too far down the road Iggy will be up in the HOF by Sakic's side, and rightfully so.
