Well I think Iginla probably realizes that it would be painful for fans to see him go to one of the Flames biggest rivals. So that crosses Vancouver off.
Then you have the Rangers who are currently out of the playoffs in the standings. Not sure why anyone would think Iginla would fancy his chances of winning a cup there.
Neither of those destinations really make any sense. It seems clear he's cherry picked what he and his agent think are the top teams with the best chances of winning the cup that aren't one of the Flames biggest rivals. Not sure why people would expect his list to be substantially bigger.
