Feaster's comments and then actions make it seem pretty clear that he hasn't been given the authority to play out his plan more, whatever it is.
one could argue that he should be commended for going away from the norm wiht the ROR offersheet (let's ignore the legal implications of the move) to try to get young players that can play without having to "scorch the earth" and suck for x years.
at the end of the day, this flames fan is tired of the type of result vs action taken the last 3 seasons. I am frustrated at whoever is making the call to standpat and tweak rather than start anew and change direction. I don't know enough of who's fault it truly is, so i see it fit to blame the person sitting in the role that is defined to manage the flames roster, and that is Feaster. Is the problem higher up? Who knows, it doesn't really matter to me, as long as it is resolved.
