If what you say is true then Feaster is an even bigger idiot. I can at least respect Feaster if he made the assessment that the team was a couple of changes and or pieces away from being an NHL playoff (with him and not Darryl making the decisions) and sold ownership on it. I can even respect the man for selling ownership the idea that the team doesn't need to rebuild and he's the man to turn things around (just so he gets the job). I cannot respect the man if he changed his assessment because some owner or President of an NHL club convinced him that a team in need of a rebuild really don't. I can't even respect him if he was "inspired" by what ownership told him and decided that the team can indeed be successful without having to rebuild.
Personally, I think Feaster made pretty much all the moves he wanted to make, but who knows.
