I guess I sort of lost the the whole lofty social commentary angle when he said there is an "epidemic of gold digging whores in this country". That's not really my idea of social commentary. It's a sexist dick bitching about women in general.
When he got to the part about Kobe's wife being a gold-digger because she stuck with him, and then she was gold-digger for divorcing him, which simply doesn't make sense, I turned it off.
So, when it's not funny, and it doesn't make sense, and it's really just some fool who obviously just doesn't like women, I decided not to waste any more time.
I didn't get to the part about Arnold, but I'm sure it was enlightening.
I'm sure there are plenty of women out there looking to get their mitts on Kobe/Tiger/Arnold's money. Just like there are a lot of scumbag dudes looking to do exactly the same thing. Maybe the next segment of his act was bitching about an epidemic of sleazy, moneygrubbing men out there looking to take advantage of dumb rich guys, but I doubt it.
Anyway, we've seen this act a million times. Johnny Carson bitched about it for years, but at least he was funny, and it actually had something to do with him.
It's hard to be offended by something you see all time time. I guarantee there aren't an army of whores coming over the hill to screw this guy and take all his riches, so really, he's just another sexist dick with a microphone.
But you do seem to have some skin in this game. You seem kinda pissed off that a woman you've never met got some money from a guy who wouldn't speak to you.
Is it something you worry about happening to you? If so, what's your secret?

So, just to be clear, you're not offended and comedy never has an underlying social commentary. Gotcha
(If it wasn't funny, btw, why were all those people laughing? Why'd they give an unfunny sexist dick a standing ovation? Hmmmm....)
