I am as pro Iggy as they come... but at the end of the day it's gotten to the point where it's best for him and it's best for the team if he goes and we get some young assets for him.
His chances of winning a cup here are slim to none in the foreseeable future.
If you're a fan of Iggy he deserves a shot at the cup and that is only going to happen if he goes elsewhere.
To watch him stay here and play on a line with a revolving door at the centre ice position of 3rd line centres, wingers and 4th line grinders is torture.
He deserves better.
The team has some rebuilding to do, and in this case - even if you're the most die hard fan of Iggy - I can't see how it wouldn't be best for him to go elsewhere.
