Wild Drop Game 2
The Wild knew they’d be in for a much tougher Game 2, and indeed they were.
The Wild played two solid periods before being dominated in the third, ultimately dropping a 3-2 decision to the Flames. After the game GM Farhall commented:
”Tough to be too upset with a game like that. We had the game tied late in the third, either team could’ve won it and they got the big goal. The being said, we were badly outplayed in the third and that’s a bit of a concern.”
With the series now tied at 2, the two teams head to Minny where Farhall hopes home ice can play a factor.
“We are comfortable playing at home and it allows us to get a bit more practice in. I have a feeling though that this is another series that could go 6 or 7, so we have to be ready for that”.
