I did lose a lot of faith in his talking with the "intellectual honesty", "fool me twice" and then nothing at the trade deadline last year. That said the two situations don't compare. Feaster had no need to talk up Jankowski to the extent he did. They didn't say Sven would be the best player to come out of his draft. They've never said that before about anyone.
Like I said I've watched hundreds of draft interviews with GM's over the years and I think you can tell the difference. If we had taken Finn or Sieloff there there's no way Feaster says they were going to trade the 1st rounder until Weisbrod saw Finn/Sieloff and that they think Finn/Sieloff could be the best player out of the draft. It's clear they were targeting Jankowski and had him top 10 if not top 5.
