Reality says no, 13th in the West says not a bubble team, I don't think they've been anywhere near 11th since the second week of the season.

Reality says that both the Flames and Oilers are god awful teams. The difference is that everyone in the media and their fan base had Edmonton as a team that would be in the playoff mix and the Flames would be god awful. The fact that the Oilers after all of their top draft picks are still god awful is the only bright life in a poopy season.
