I think the Flames will be in excellent shape in the upcoming years to take advantage of a bad contract. Get a solid pick or prospect back in exchange for taking one of them. Include me on the "Tyler Myers can bounce back" bandwagon - you may not get something good for acquiring that contract, but it wouldn't be an outrageous thought that his acquisition cost is pretty low.
Those long term contracts are scary. As much as I hate saying it, Luongo's contract isn't horrible, but there is a good chance it could become one in time.
I think DiPietro and Lecalvalier's are the worst current. Way too many years, and one is not even an NHL player any longer. Lecalvalier seems to have slowed down considerably (perhaps ever since the Matt Cooke incident) and I don't ever see him living up to his contract any longer, and it is only going to get worse.
