Agreed. This is our best chance at drafting a superstar or franchise player. Heck we may end up with the highest draft position in franchise history. It happens to coincide with a draft that has a strong top end.
I can't help but think that finishing bottom 5 and getting a blue chip/stud prospect would be great for the Flames short and long term future. We need a star to replace Iginla, this draft seems our best bet at acquiring one.
