Well I had a chance to play the recent DLC over the weekend. I only played Conquest and Rush so I can't comment on the new CTF and Air Superiority modes. However, I still had a pretty fun time on the new maps.

Kiasar Railroad: Fairly large map with plenty of cover. I only saw this one a few times but it seemed like a balanced map for Rush and Conquest.

Nebandan Flats: Large desert map. A very rough start for attackers in Rush mode. You have to run over open ground towards a large warehouse where both MCOMs are located inside. If you have a decent team you can advance fairly easily with smoke and you have plenty of room to flank on the sides.

Operation Riverside: I really like this map. Nice layout of capture points and Rush was fun.

Sabalan Pipeline: I played a lot of rounds on this map. Somewhat smaller winter map. Good on Conquest and so-so on Rush. Like Nebandan, the start is fairly rough for the attackers except you have more cover.

Overall I think this last DLC release is pretty solid. It reminds me more of classic BF2 maps than anything else they've released. The bikes are way more fun than I thought they'd be. I was getting plenty of multi-kills by strapping C4 on my bike and driving it into the side of a tank or APC.

In my opinion:

Back to Karkland: 9/10 (Nice classic maps re-imagined. Wasn't a huge fan of the Wake Island remake but really enjoyed the other 3).

Close Quarters: 7/10 (The maps were pure CoD which I could have done without. However, this was the only DLC to come with additional weapons and the maps were actually a decent diverson from regular Battlefield.)

Armored Kill: 2/10 (Surprisingly, the one DLC I was looking forward to the most sucked the most ass. I didn't really play too many matches of AK but from what I did I didn't really enjoy. Maps were huge, but there was a whole lot of open ground that would mean instant death for someone proceeding on foot. The AC-130 was particularly annoying.)

Aftermath: 10/10 (Best BF3 DLC period. Maps feel unique and are a breath of fresh air for the game.)

Endgame: 8/10
