It is still obtaining in bad faith especially when it is your known competitor. The other company can get it back in not time and very cheap by going to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and citing the Uniform Domain Name Resolution Policy. If they feel you have done it to hurt their brand they can take you to court, which would be no fun for you being the said competitor.
