Ditto for the Oilers. Will all those #1 draft picks ever make Edmonton a contender? The Penguins were bottom dwellers from 2002-06, technically only 4 seasons, before they became an elite team.
The Oilers have been in the bottom five, since 2006-07. This will be the seventh straight season they fail to qualify for the playoffs.
