Inside marriage the church allows condoms for the prevention of disease.
So we get to the family planning argument which isn't really a question about birth control. That question becomes should the church change its doctorine and state that children should be a choice? There are definately benefits to encouraging famliy planning amoung the poor.
The whole argument that the church is causing a rampent spread of aids in africa is false. If people followed church doctrine on sex aids would not spread rapidly. If people choose not to follow church doctrin on sex why are they following it on condoms. It doesn't make sense.
