So my sister goes to CDI college and took out a student loan and recently got a cheque for $2660 from the government. Anyways later in the week she gets a call from a lady at CDI (she was from CDI, she knows her) and lets her know they accidentally sent her an extra $1150 and she needs to return it to the school.

That just seems weird since the money is coming from the government not the
School.

Her friends got the same phone call. Sounds like one of those typical scams, but I could be wrong.
