Depends on what part of the drought you are talking about, I agree completely with parts of the Housley , Bure etc. era being lazy especially Housley, I couldn't stand him. ...but I thought the team worked hard under Brian Sutter for a season or 2...the year they finished 9th ,('98- '99 I think) if you assessed the talent of that team it should have been no where near the playoffs, that team was all hard work and overachieved.
I remember the 'dome recognizing that and giving them a standing ovation in the last game of the year for just being in the playoff race at the end despite failing to make it.
