If the Flames improve on the road and go .500 the rest of the way that would give them an additional 13 points, taking them to 37. If they need 55 points to make it into 8th place, they only need to go 9-1 at home the rest of the way to make the playoffs.
Unfortunately if they maintain their current pace on the road they will go 5-8 the rest of the way and they will need to go 10-0 at home and hope that the magic number goes down to 54 to make the playoffs.
