It left out nearly the entire cast for a run into town where inexplicably they bring back a distant character from the first season only to once again leave him behind at the end of the episode. Maybe the episode itself was okay but it really served little purpose outside of Carl and Michonne having a bonding moment.

As far as I am concernen, Rick's going crazy led up to that episode. Made him look at him self and get some great fire power at the same time.
