There are ten TSN doubleheaders this season, six of them on Wednesdays. On some of those nights where the first game went longer than the scheduled 2.5 hours. From what I have gathered and learned through emails and phone calls, the second game was delayed at the request of TSN. You could be correct that the Flames may not have wanted the game to start after 2000h but, the Flames have two Wednesday games scheduled for 2000h. I cannot see the Flames accepting the fact that its local and regional television audience being unable to watch half of the first period or longer of a Flames game.
