The whole point of the octa-core is improved battery life. It is more like 2 quad cores, uses the less powerful one when the faster one is not required. Pretty cool actually, and would be very disappointed if it was not in the na version. Of the rumored specs, that combined with a more efficient screen was the most compelling,.
