Yeah, but, if nearly everyone dropped in the first few weeks (which was hinted by how Rick saw the world when he first woke up) there couldn't really be a constant supply still coming after a year. I mean there was even only one guy left at the CDC.
Plus, there have been many times they have come across what seems to be or should be a fully isolated group of zombies. No new ones could have been added.
Not here to bust on the premise, cause I'm enjoying the show, and suspending my belief as much as I can, I was just commenting on the other 'what if' zombie related survival questions. Sure they make sense, and there's probably even more of them than that, but ultimately it's a fools errand to say, 'well the characters should just do this,' because the whole thing is way past making sense right now.
Not that I was ripping on those posters either, just adding my observation. Ocean vessels and northern climes do make for a reprieve, logically. But ultimately it's up to the writers, cause the zombies have stopped existing logically and are running on TV magic. It all depends on what the writers want to do. Perhaps there are groups that have done this already and that's coming up in future season. Maybe there's a research station in Nunavut that's close to a cure!
