I wouldn't entertain Iginla on this franchise going forward without him taking a significant pay cut, to the tune of 3 million dollars a year or
less. Even then, I am at the point now where I just hope whatever avenue it takes, he's not on the franchise going into the draft. This is the Flames though so you can't make predictions on what should happen, usually just the opposite.
Security comes with a price. If the team is going to be a country club retirement home, the very least you can do is not pay top dollar for it.
