That's a management issue, not a Jarome Iginla issue. I get that people want to turnover the asset which is Iginla, but I think it's way off base to frame in a way that makes Iginla into the problem.
TOTF's idea for rebuilding has as much merit as the scorched earth method other people are advocating. In fact, it's rare that a team trades every veteran when rebuilding. There is still a need for leadership and continuity when going with youth (as the Ottawa example points to).
