Are people saying the same thing about Oilers management? Not really, which is exactly the problem.
Their first round picks simply aren't that good of players. RNH is the biggest floater in the league right now. Trying to do everything with 'skill.'
For someone that was a clear #1 pick, he sure is horrible.

I think you are completely off base on Hokpins, he will never be a big body who can physically dominate but he is really good in his own end positionally. Not a Selke winner but someone who at 19 can be thrown out and won't be a liability on the ice.
He is still a very young player who is going through a sophomore slump - he is going to be a heck of a player though.
