Big difference though given Doan re-signed coming off a very promising playoff run and is surrounded by some very nice pieces. Only question for him was team staying in Phoenix which it sounds like he was assured of.
I don't think Iginla is giving up on Calgary very easily. He's given them his whole career and given them loads of time to put together a contending team and has taken a discount to help make that happen. I view it as Jarome has given all he has to Calgary and without help he can't give anymore which is why I think he is contemplating leaving.

Which is exactly the type of desperation move people are scared of Feater making. i think that would be a horrible move for the Flames unless the bought so low you can't pass it up and I don't see that happening. Lecavalier still has some value.
