It woudn't suprise me at all if Iginla was giving very serious consideration to leaving. I have no question Iginla loves Calgary but I also think he loves to win just as much and I think he probably sees what everyone, except apparantly Flames management, see and that is a not very good team with no potential to really get better in the next couple seasons. I think people overrate Iginla's desire to stay in Calgary I think its always been a combination of him loving living in Calgary but also able to win. During the 03/04 season, prior to the playoffs, whenever Iginla talked about his expiring contract he took a very "it's business" approach to being asked about leaving and never gave you the feeling he would stay at all costs and I don't think that has changed. As long as Iginla thinks that Flames can win he will be open to staying and I think with no negotiations over the summe thats a pretty clear sign to me is he wanted to see what Feaster was planning for this season and what type of impact Hartley would have.
