... We're in the same boat as themm just face it. This team needs to re-structure. Everyone bitches and moans about it, but it's true.
Every now and then (7-10 year intervals) we'll get a group of guys that just for one season play their hearts out. And then get traded off to other teams.
We need a group that consistently play well, unfortunately that requires either money or the pre-req of placing last consistently over a couple years to acquire some good picks, and unlike the Oilers who keep theirs, the Flames need to trade them off for guys who know what they're doing in their mid 20s.
