Ganger is a UFA (RFA?) after this season and is putting up the best numbers on the team, so what does he get?
This is the trouble in my mind of starting the kids so early. It's not just the RFA years you lose, but their first RFA contract will reflect their NHL experience. If they don't take you somewhere, it's now wasted.

Schultz has a 2 year ELC - he comes due next year with RNH.

From the (current) big 5, there are 14 years of ELCs. After this year, 10 of them will be burned and after next season, 13 are done. Way to take advantage TambiLowe!
