The Sharks forward got his stick on that clearing attempt by Butler. I guess it was a turnover, but holy moly we are getting pretty tough on the guy if that's the worst thing he did last night.
I'm sure if you watched every d-man close enough last night you'll find a play or two from every one of them that wasn't great, where they made a bad decision or turned the puck over. Worst of them all was Gio.
Butler isn't elite, but last night was a very good game for him. I'm not sure why we're nitpicking one or two turnovers to show he made some bad plays. His good plays outweighed the poor plays by a huge margin.
