Bouwmeester had a strong game, so did Brodie and Smith.
Butler logged allot of time sure fine but he must have iced the puck with little or no pressure on 10 times. He had a 3 real bad giveaway's that Kipper saved him on.
Sven looked out of synch.
Stempniak and Stajan another solid game.
Glencross was hot and cold. Floated for a handful of shifts worked hard on others. Frustrating player to watch for me this season.
He is trying to beat everyone 1 on 1 instead of playing smart.
Grats only had a few shifts but he settled SJ down early that there was going to be no roughing up the Flames tonight.

If people don't like him....fine. He does have some rough games now and then. But when he plays perhaps his best game of the year I don't see the need to exaggerate to make it seem like he had a terrible night. He played well.
Bulter had some nice moments. Bulter was key on the Comeau goal it was a great rush through the neutral zone, and made some decent pinchs... but yes he did ice the puck several times.
And he did turn the puck over that resulted in immediate scoring chances 2 were on the boards where he made decision mistakes along the Flames zone boards.
Another was a bad clear near the blue line where he played the angle off the boards wrong instead being a board pass and resulted in a slap shot on Kipper.
and this one at 5:06 left in the 3rd. Nice initial play and a turn over that resulted in Kipper bailing him out. 3:37 of the clip.
I did notice Butler was not losing his man though he has gotten better staying in position and not chasing. Still lets the wingers in the zone too easy.
