Pretty sure it's an easy decision for Rogers to make.
Accept X dollars in virtual advertising with the one draw back of having the audio being slightly out of sync or do not accept virtual advertising dollars. I'm as annoyed by it as anyone else, but as long as Rogers has exclusive coverage of the Flames games it carries I have no alternative to watching it. Rogers knows that, so they essentially don't care and made a decision that would make their shareholders happier.
