For music, Sirius is more top 40 and more repetitive while XM is less mainstream (except the top 20 station) and less repetition.

For sports, Sirius has NHL (for one more season) and NFL. XM has NHL and MLB. The other great thing for NHL/MLB is on XM it shows the score of each game, period and for MLB it has the current count. It makes it easy to flip through games because you don't have to wait to hear the score.

I would say satellite radio is definitely worth it. A good site for info on XM radio is www.xmfan.com.

For those in the Edmonton area, you can get a free XM radio plus two months free subscription just by taking a KIA for a test drive.
