He seems to be like most rookies, especially offesnsively minded guys like himself, that he is inconsistent and having a hard time doing all the little things that makes you a successful NHL player.

I think it depends on what you expected from him and as a 13th pick I think he is doing fine but as a guy that we saw take big steps in Junior to be possibly better than that 13th pick there sure would be some concerns.

I think he has shown enough that there still is some hope that he will turn out to be a top 6 (or more) guy but he definitely has to improve overall to allow the coaches to put him in those situations.

I think that he should get some more PP time to help get his confidence/use his skills but it is tough for him as the Flames don't seem to be able to give him those minutes with their goal of making the play-offs as the number 1 goal.
