^^^go visit Sample. Given what you want to do it's pretty tough booking on your own. You could do sneaky things like fly Zoom to Paris which would open up options for a variety of airlines. I did a quick look at Paris to Cape Town and got a bunch of different airlines in the $800+ CAN range. Trouble is even through Travelocity it's not easy to figure out which one have availability. This is where a good agent come in useful, they can see more than us mere motrals can.
