Does anyone else remember Datsyuk when he first entered the league? He made Marc Savard look like Mark Messier. Then a few years later, he went on to be Selke winner.
I'm not saying Hodgson will become that, but people often forget that player development doesn't end as soon as the player is an NHL regular.
