Watching Bob Mckenzie talk about the return J Bo would fetch and how well he is playing got me thinking about how much the media actually influences the value of players.

I know they having been beating down Iggy lately and talking up guys like J Bo and Stajan. Do you think GMs or other hockey management pay attention to comments made in the media about players and how much does it impact their thought process?


Personally, when they make a comment like they did tonight about J Bo...I think that GMs that haven't noticed how well he has been playing may tune in to see what they are talking about.
