Dennis Rodman is the last person that should be evaluating whether someone is a good guy and sane.

The Kim family from grandfather to son to grandson are not stupid, they're probably the best trained political animals that the world has seen. They understand the game of brinkmenship and play it well to get what they want.

Frankly no one is going to get their skirts in a knot about the end of the cease fire because North Korea's army would get absolutely pounded by the South Korean military even if the States decided to sit on the side lines.

About the only threat that the North Korean's have left is their artillary belt within range of South Korea, but young Kim understands that the minute that he lets that genie out of the bottle that his time in the lap of luxury and rule would end very quickly.

I remember reading a quote by Madeline Albright who talked about Kim Jong-il and stated that he was crazy like a fox.

Everytime he sneezed he got concessions.

The son is following the same playbook and doing it after getting some good will by Rodman.

He might be young at 23 (I think) but he's saavy enough to play the military against the Intelligence services to keep himself and his family members in power, and he's saavy enough to know that threats = money until someone tells him to get stuffed.

He has the new threat though that his dad and grandpa didn't have to deal with and that's a China with huge global stability concerns, who are sick and tired on NK's crap.
